Mark Driscoll has finally updated his blog over at The Resurgence. For some reason, he has quoted a bunch of stuff from his post “Of Brokenness & Buddies” which he posted way back on March 17. Yeah you watch the bloggers go bezerk on that one! Cause bloggers seem to dislike Driscoll for some unknown reason. Actually, I posted about this here. Maybe he’s reposting due to the fact that the guy is pretty stressed and burnt out doing all the work he does over at Mars Hill et al.
Anyway, I don’t need to stick up for Driscoll cause he’s big enough to stick up for himself. He does have some interesting points on how leaders cope with stress and workloads. But the main thing I wanted to post about is his series “Death By Ministry” - part 1 of 11 is available for you here or simply below. Only Driscoll would do a 11 part series about burnout!
And for those following the evolution of the Gospel Coalition, here is a link to some of the photo’s taken at the event back in May. I am so grateful that a bunch of Christian Leaders get together to draft a new evangelical reformed confession of faith. In today’s world where it’s becoming popular to throw in all types of beliefs and doctrines, I admire this group for having the conviction to honor the truth of scripture.

I’ve been following Driscoll’s blog as well. I think a lot of the inactivity is that he is so busy. The dude is doing a lot!
